Arsenal have reportedly made a huge new bid for Benjamin Sesko as they look to sign a new striker in the final week of the January window. Matheus Cunha is also said to be targeting a move to the Gunners, who are trying to beat Manchester City and Aston Villa to a deal for midfield starlet Sverre Nypan, who has been in London for talks, but could miss out to Liverpool on Jorrel Hato.


Chelsea have been handed a boost over Dean Huijsen, who looks to be their new top target as speculation continues over Alejandro Garnacho with the deadline looming. Manchester United are still trying to sign Patrick Dorgu with a third offer imminent and want to loan Christopher Nkunku amid fresh links to Viktor Gyokeres, while struggling Tottenham are rumoured to be the preferred next club of Angel Gomes.

 Jude Bellingham was "disrespectful" after he was sent off for dissent during Real Madrid's 1-1 draw with Osasuna on Saturday, says Barcelona boss Hansi Flick. The England midfielder was shown a straight red card in the 39th minute for something he was adjudged to have said to referee Jose Luis Munuera Montero. The 21-year-old later said the incident was a "misunderstanding" and he did not insult the referee, an explanation supported by his manager Carlo Ancelotti. Asked for his reaction to the incident, Flick said: "It is disrespectful but I'm not the one who should comment on it. And that's what I've always told the players.
